Run up to Christmas!

Date: 1st Nov 2017 @ 10:16am

Hello, can you believe we are on the run up to Christmas already!

This half term we are going to be extremely busy looking at the theme of ‘Victorians’. This will give us the opportunity to study some Charles Dickens texts and delve into the history of Queen Victoria.

We will be exploring the hard life of Victorian children and what is was like to live in Victorian England.

Every week we will be busy rehearsing for our Christmas play ‘A Christmas Carol’ which will be a huge success I’m sure.

A date for your diary is Wednesday 6th December as this is our Winter Fayre. As usual there will be lots of lovely things to buy including decorations, cakes, sweets and stocking fillers.

As well as everything that is happening in school, we are hoping to continue with our community visits and have a trip to the Christmas Markets and Manchester Museum. Fingers crossed we will also win the attendance prize which will give us another free trip somewhere.
