Welcome back- Autumn 2017

Date: 28th Sep 2017 @ 9:47am

Welcome back to The Grange and this year in Wills’ class. Our class has settled in well and this term we will be doing lots of exciting things when we look at our topic of The Universe.

During our numeracy classes will be focusing on number and will build on our understanding of addition, subtraction. We aim to help the children become more confident with their understandings of different numeracy equations by giving suitably challenging work which will allow for the children to feel a level of pride over their achievements.

Across the term we will take part in some exciting activities across the curriculum such as making planet cakes in food tech, and getting creative during art classes when we create our own alien drawings using different materials to make them extra colourful. The children will get to go out into the community in activities such as Wythenshawe wheelers, and a few members of our class will be attending swim session at the Aquatic Centre.

As a class reward for settling in and such good work we are hoping to take the pupils to Go Air centre in the last week of this half term. We will be asking for a parental contribution but will notify you of this nearer the time in the home school diaries.

Thanks for your continued support.

Will, Sarah and Sophie.
