All schools receive additional funding, The Pupil Premium, which is additional to the main Special School funding from the LA and is intended to help disadvantaged pupils to 'close the gap' and to raise attainment and improve progress.
In the 2023 – 2024 financial year, schools will receive the following funding for each child registered.
Schools also receive £2410 for each Looked After Child (LAC) Pupil Premium (1 pupil) that will be spent to fulfil those student’s individual Personal Educational Plans (PEPs) in line with current guidance.
Recovery Catch Up Premium is calculated at £145 per primary-aged pupil and £276 per secondary-aged pupil (Foundation Stage up to Y11)
